‘Risen’ brought together string, sandstone and cloth, three contrasting textures, which shared a similar colour palette. The installation, made for the sanctuary of Renfield St. Stephen’s Church, Glasgow, created a circular opening, drawing the viewer eye towards a solitary piece of cloth. The intention of the minimal form was to convey the emotional intensity of the first Easter morning.
